Privacy Policy
To test your eyes and make your glasses, we need some information about you, including your eye measurements. This page explains what Manh Long Optical collects, what we use it for, who we share it with, which measurement tools our website uses, and what you can ask us to do with your information.
- Our website has no accounts, no forms and no payments. Most of your information is recorded when you visit the store, call or message us.
- The website uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, the Google Ads tag, the Meta Pixel and Ryze's measurement tool to understand how visitors use it and to measure our advertising.
- We do not sell your personal information.
1. What we collect
When you contact us, have an eye test or buy glasses
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and email if you contact us by email.
- Delivery details: an address or hotel name, if you choose delivery.
- Eye test and prescription details: refraction results, reading addition, pupil distance, fitting height measured on the frame you chose, and any prescription you bring with you.
- How you use your eyes: your work, screen time and driving habits, so we can recommend the right lenses.
- Order details: what you bought, the price, the collection date, and any warranty or aftercare history.
When you send photos for frame advice
If you send a photo of your face to get frame suggestions, it is used only to choose frame shapes that suit you. We may use an AI tool to help with this, and we ask your permission first before putting your photo into it. Frame advice by photo never estimates your prescription and makes no comment on your eyes.
When you use the website
- The pages you view, time on page, device type, browser, approximate location from your IP address, and how you reached the site.
- Clicks on the call, WhatsApp, Zalo and directions buttons, together with the page language (English or Vietnamese).
- Your choices in the "Pick frames with Son" tool (face shape, material). The tool does not ask for your name or phone number.
The website has no login accounts, no forms and takes no payments. The basket on the frames page stays in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
2. What we use it for
- Testing your eyes, advising you and making glasses to the right measurements.
- Contacting you about your order: when your glasses are ready, arranging delivery, any change of date.
- Warranty, returns, aftercare and future eye tests.
- Answering questions you send by phone, WhatsApp, Zalo, email or social media.
- Understanding how people use the website so we can make it clearer.
- Measuring how our Google and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) ads perform, and possibly showing our ads to people who have visited the website.
3. Measurement tools and third-party services on the website

These tools may set cookies or use similar technology in your browser, and the companies behind them handle that data under their own policies. When you tap through to WhatsApp, Zalo, Facebook or Instagram, the conversation happens on that platform and under its policy.
Browser storage
The website saves two small settings in your browser: the language you chose, and whether you closed the language suggestion bar. Neither contains personal information.
4. Limiting cookies and ads
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The website still works normally.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Manage Google ads at myadcenter.google.com.
- Manage Facebook and Instagram ads at facebook.com/adpreferences.
5. Who we share information with
Manh Long Optical does not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed to serve you:
- Lens manufacturers' labs: the measurements needed to make lenses to order (prescription, pupil distance, fitting height, frame dimensions).
- Delivery providers: your name, phone number and delivery address, when you choose delivery.
- An AI tool for frame advice: the face photo you sent, only with your consent.
- Government authorities: when the law requires it.
6. Keeping information safe
- We keep order details and eye test results for warranty, aftercare and comparison at your next eye test.
- Only staff who need the information to serve you can see it.
- The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stores no payment card details.
7. Your choices about your information
Under Vietnamese law on personal data protection, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, including your eye test results;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, or stop using it for a particular purpose;
- stop contacting you about offers.
Send your request by email to mlong.optical@gmail.com, by WhatsApp or Zalo, or at the counter. We may ask a question or two to make sure it is really you before acting on it.
For children tested in store, the information comes from a parent or guardian, and requests about it are made by the parent or guardian.
8. Updates to this policy
If we add or remove a measurement tool on the website, or change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the bottom.
